Sunday Diary

Somebody very kind bought me the kind of diary that I've been looking for. One with watercolour pages (why is this such a hard thing to find??)

I was reading the very excellent Creating a Life Worth Living (which reminds me that I have a burning desire to make a new page on this blog where I write the crappiest book reviews ever), and in it, the author Carol Lloyd suggested doing an "ecstatic task" every day.

The ecstatic task is something creative that you are doing purely for the love of it, not to produce great works.

And I thought, what I love doing for fun is drawing with pen and watercolour! Hurrah!

...Although, this last week I have been waking up at 5.30am, which does diminish my love for the world somewhat....
