Banana feet

When I was little, I went to the school dental nurse with some other classmates.

One of the boys was wearing his shoes on the wrong feet.

The dental nurse pointed and said, "banana feet!"

I didn't know this expression, and it was instantly the funniest thing that I had ever heard. I laughed and laughed and laughed...

Until she pointed at my own shoes (which were on correctly), and said, "pineapple feet!"

It really upset me.
